Saudi Arabia bans entry to holy sites without Hajj permit

The Saudi Ministry on Sunday banned entry into holy sites without a Hajj permit.

A fine of 10,000 Saudi riyals will be charged to anyone trying to breach these regulations, and the penalty will be doubled up for repeat offenders.

Security personnel will patrol all roads, security checkpoints, and corridors to prevent and control violations.

Security personnel will be deployed on all roads leading to the holy sites to prevent violations.

Strict security measures are implemented to prevent entry to holy sites without a permit from July 5 to 23.

Any trespasser who enters the Grand Mosque and its surrounding area and the holy sites in Mina, Muzdalifa, and Arafat from July 5 to 23 to perform Haj rituals without permits will be penalised.
