Extension opens in time for World Cup as part of wider expansion plan Premier Inn Doha Airport creates football fan zone.

A new terrace with seating for 60 guests will open soon at Premier Inn Doha Education City Hotel, bringing a new venue for outdoor dining and World Cup viewing.

Named ‘The Terrace’, the new destination forms part of a wider extension plan at the hotel, which is located a stone’s throw from the Doha Education City stadium.

Guests can look forward to giant-screen viewing, with a host of exciting deals, décor and daily competitions at The Terrace, a 250 square metre addition to the ever-popular, family-friendly Omnia restaurant.

Jonathon Leonard, Director of Property at Premier Inn MENA, said: “The Terrace is part of our commitment to enhancing guests’ experiences at our two hotels in Qatar. With the winter season now upon us – and of course the impending World Cup – this new venue will be welcomed by overnight guests, tourists and local residents, whether they are joining us for a family dinner, a casual night out with friends or for big-screen football action.”

Meanwhile, across town at Premier Inn Doha Airport Hotel, a new, licensed football fan zone – ‘Strikers’ – is taking shape and will be open when the World Cup kicks off on 20 November.

The Terrace and Strikers will both be offering special football food and beverage deals, as well as daily games and prize competitions.

Tuck into bargain buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner – for QAR80, QAR129 and QAR159 respectively – at both hotels from 15 November until the end of the World Cup.

Plus, enter Premier Inn’s social media competitions for the chance to win a pair of JBL headsets, a family staycation and F&B giveaways.

Premier Inn hotels in Doha, Qatar’s leading destinations for high quality, high value accommodation for business and leisure travellers, are part of an 11-strong, growing portfolio of Premier Inn hotels in the Middle East. There are currently seven hotels in Dubai and two in Abu Dhabi, with more properties in existing and new markets in the pipeline.
