Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa renowned for its distinctive architecture and world-class hospitality is pleased to announce the appointment of Vesselin Galov as the new Hotel Manager.

Boasting an impressive 18 years of experience and a distinguished track record in the hospitality industry, Galov has worked in luxury hotels across Europe and the Middle East and has been a loyal member of Marriott International for seven years. 

In his most recent role, Galov served as the Director of Market Strategy for both Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa and The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, bringing a robust vision and a proven ability to drive revenue growth and surpass sales targets. During his tenure, he led a dynamic commercial team with a focus on implementing comprehensive total revenue management strategies, resulting in significant market share expansion, heightened profitability, and consistently exceeded revenue objectives. Throughout his distinguished career, Galov’s responsibilities also included shaping marketing strategies and enhancing overall brand presence and positioning. 

In his new capacity as Hotel Manager, Galov will lead with a focus on further elevating the resort’s reputation as a premier luxury destination. Galov’s mandate includes steering strategic initiatives to enhance revenue streams, optimize operational efficiency, and cultivate a collaborative environment that empowers the team to achieve new heights of excellence. He will also be responsible for orchestrating seamless operational excellence, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a culture of unparalleled service delivery.
