Amna Abdullah Al Hammadi, new Head of Media in Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, ADX

 Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, ADX, has announced the appointment of Amna Abdullah Al Hammadi, as the Head of the Media Department.

ADX CEO, Rashed Al Balooshi commented on the appointment saying, “Ms. Al Hammadi brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in marketing management, events, and corporate communications and has an excellent understanding of the regional customer and market dynamics and requirements. We are confident that Ms. Al Hammadi will use her proven broad-based skills and strengths to the advantage and service of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.” Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Al Hammadi was Director of Marketing and Communications at the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development where she formulated and led the strategic marketing and corporate communications of the Foundation. She also held several senior positions at Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) the most recent of which was as head of the Department of Marketing and Corporate Communications, where she was responsible for the formulation, application and management of DMI marketing strategy.

Ms. Al Hammadi holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Media Studies from the Higher Colleges of Technology. She is a member the American Marketing Association, the Association for Consumer Research. She also is a member of the Marketing Committee of the U.A.E.’s National Olympic Committee.
