RM Sotheby’s has greatly expanded mainly in our global reach with our presence across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We have also consistently achieved record breaking sales which has also at-tracted attention from collectors and buyers all around the world.

  1. Can you describe the diverse range of luxury and classic cars available through RM Sotheby’s, including different makes, models, and historical significance?

From the historic side, RM Sotheby’s has pre-war iconic classics such as the 1933 Auburn Twelve Salon Phaeton, 1933 Cadillac V-12 all-weather Phaeton by Fisher and 1936 Cord 810 Phaeton to name a few. One of the most iconic pre-world war 2 automobiles, is the 1930 Cadillac V-16 Trans-formable Town Cabriolet by Fleetwood. It debuted at the dawn of the great depression and was the first sixteen-cylinder Cadillac.

There is also the post-war classics such as the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II, 1949 Bent-ley Mark VI Coupe and 1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith All-weather Tourer. These were auctioned back in 2022 in Monterey, California.

We also have the European sports cars that represent pinnacle performance from their eras such as the Ferrari 250 or Porche 911.

Then we get into the classic race cars from Le-Mans and Formula 1. These cars have significant racing pedigrees such as the Porsche 917.

Lastly, there are the limited edition, prototypes and concept cars. These are the vehicles that have pushed the boundaries in design and innovation.
