Ruler of Fujairah receives first U.A.E. Economic Planning Forum’s participants

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today received at Remaila Palace the heads of local economic departments participating in the two-day long first edition of the U.A.E. Economic Planning Forum, which kicked off on Tuesday at the Novotel Hotel, Fujairah.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, attended the meeting.

The Ruler of Fujairah expressed the hope that the forum would come up with good resolutions that could achieve objectives of the federal government and its strategic vision 2021, and would contribute towards improving strategic communication among various economic departments nationwide.

He noted that the event is an annual platform to demonstrate the strategic economic plans of each emirate, and reflect positively on the national economic, and regional and international competitiveness.

On his part, the Crown Prince of Fujairah said the candid dialogue among businessmen, investors and the directors of economic departments would be fruitful, referring to the economic and investment potentials of the Emirate of Fujairah.

The directors of economic departments pledged to the Ruler of Fujairah their keenness to translate the resolutions of the forum into action.

Among others present were Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of the Federal National Council, Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Head of the Department of Industry and Economy Department, other Sheikhs and senior officials.
