Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah launches ‘flying’ experiences for guests

A flying experience offering views of the Arabian Gulf is now available until December 30, 2020 at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah for guests choosing to stay in a One-Bedroom, Tower or Royal Suite.

Guests can admire a bird’s eye view of the Arabian Peninsula in a gyrocopter ride during their stay. The aircraft includes two seats for the pilot and guest, delivering an encounter at 1,500 ft. The 20-minute flight route operated by Jazirah Aviation will take guests along the coast and provides views of the emirate.

Alternatively, guests can channel their adrenaline through a powered parachute which is a personal aircraft featuring a propeller-driven cart suspended from a parachute. Accompanied by a trained professional, the motorised parachute flies at around 35 mph.

Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah has received the Bureau Veritas ‘Safeguard Label’, in cooperation with the RAK Tourism Development Authority, and is part of Hilton CleanStay, Hilton’s programme of cleanliness and disinfection in Hilton properties across the world.
