Brunch & Cake to open two new locations in the UAE

The Barcelona-born Brunch & Cake is set to open multiple new locations across the UAE and GCC.

The most immediate and upcoming launch will be at The Pointe in Dubai followed by a third location in Abu Dhabi. The co-founders of Brunch & Cake have also confirmed extensive expansion plans for throughout the GCC.

Brunch & Cake’s second Dubai location is set to open in early December at The Pointe, Dubai. The second location will be called ‘Brunch & Cake by the Sea’ and will be right next to the world’s largest dancing fountain, which is set to open at The Pointe on October 22, 2020.

Brunch & Cake by the Sea will boast an indoor space of 1,500 sq ft indoors and a terrace outdoor seating of 1,000 sq ft. This will be the brand’s cosiest location and is being dubbed as ‘Petit pequeño’ by the Brunch & Cake team.

Brunch & Cake’s Abu Dhabi location in the UAE spans over 3013 sq ft and has the overall capacity to seat 75 number of people. The venue will be complete with an outdoor and indoor area.

Co-founder of Flip International and F&B expert Amjad Barakat, who brought the brand to Dubai all the way from Barcelona, has also shared extensive expansion plans across the GCC, with Saudi Arabia being the first to sign on for a location in Riyadh.

An agreement between Pipeline Investments/Flip International and Alrajhi Investment Group was signed at the start of 2020 and will see a total of six outlets open in the Kingdom, with the first location opening in Riyadh in September 2021.

Brunch & Cake has also signed an agreement with the Coral hospitality in Egypt for further expansion and is also cooking up potential growth in other GCC countries including Kuwait.
