Radisson Hotel Group had recently announced its Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol; Radisson Hotels in the UAE have completed the SGS Disinfection Monitored and Cleaning Checked mark by SGS.

The official SGS Disinfection Monitored and Cleaning Checked mark confirms the Radisson Hotels within the UAE have met the highest cleanliness, disinfection and safety measures and is based on the successful completion of an independent, comprehensive testing by SGS.

The check includes a remote in-depth validation to ensure the hotel has implemented all 20-Step and +10-Step protocols for Meetings & Events as outlined and recommended in the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol, followed by an on-site audit and specialised inspection, which is completed using the latest testing technology.

Conducted by local SGS inspectors, the on-site two-fold testing includes in-situ Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) and RT-qPCR testing. Both testing methods are essential to confirm whether the hotel is conducting enhanced in-depth cleaning and disinfection measures in line with the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol.

Bert Fol, Regional Director Arabian Peninsula and East Africa, Radisson Hotel Group says: “We remain committed to delivering a clean and safe environment with maximum hygiene standards to protect our guests, team members and partners. We are pleased SGS has validated our hotels full compliance with all the health, safety, disinfection protocols as outlined in the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol which includes a 20-step protocol and a 10-step protocol specifically defined for Meetings & Events. We look forward to welcoming back local and international guests and creating unforgettable experiences for travelers from around the world.”

In addition to the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol, all hotels within Dubai have been granted the Dubai Assured Stamp, a verification and validation process which has been put in place by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism), Department of Economic Development (Dubai Economy) and Dubai Municipality.
