The UAE has responded to the pandemic, which affected the whole world and has demonstrated its readiness through proactive steps aimed at containing, minimizing the repercussions and preserving the gains.

The establishment of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) in 2007 highlights the UAE’s proactiveness to raise the readiness of all vital sectors of the country in the face of various types of emergencies and crises.

The NCEMA said, “The success of the national efforts that we see has been the product of collaboration among sectors at a national level.

“110 national protocols have been developed and published covering several areas and are in line with local protocols and directives.

NCEMA said the outcome of the successes we see today was the result of a solid infrastructure, which proved the UAE’s successful business continuity model, and the permanence of initiatives and projects that saw the light during the pandemic.

The UAE humanitarian efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic were not only aimed internally, but the UAE led the aid to affected countries around the world, sending medical aid to many countries around the world as part of their commitment to helping all.
