Doha to Host 8th Middle East Artificial Lift Forum in February

Doha will host the 8th Middle East Artificial Lift Forum (MEALF) at the Ritz Carlton Hotel from 3 to 5 February 2015 with the participation of more than 400 artificial lift experts.

The three-day MEALF event is organized by a technical committee, which is made up of artificial lift experts representing operators, technology suppliers and manufacturers. Some 150 papers will presented, in addition to presentations by more than 40 speakers from 25 countries.

The technical presentations will focus on all aspects of artificial lift as an important component of oil production activities. In addition to the presentation of technical papers, MEALF 2015 will also feature an exhibition at the sidelines of the forum. The exhibition will showcase all the equipment, technologies and services related to artificial lift operations.

The MEALF 2015 exhibition will keep all delegates abreast with the latest products and the newest technologies that are now available in the market.
The three-day event will hold an optional pre-forum training workshop on the 3rd of February. The workshops target participants with intermediate to advanced level of understanding in Artificial Lift Technologies and will focus on practical exercises and best practice / new-tech cases in an interactive setting.

All the four courses will be running parallel to each other and will be delivered through a dedicated instructors, among them are: Electrical Submersible Pumps, Gas Lift, Artificial Lift Selection, and Sucker Rod Technologies.

The MEALF aims at meeting the growing demand expressed within the artificial lift technologies in the Middle East region and elsewhere. Its main objective is to promote dialogue and discussion among new and existing artificial lift users by sharing best practices, experiences, case histories and discussing new technologies.

It focuses on the increasing use of artificial lift technologies in oil production operations throughout the Middle East region. The forum was established for the purpose of creating a platform to effectively encourage the use of Artificial Lift technologies in the oil industry.

It endeavors to provide the best technical solutions while creating a worldwide knowledge sharing and best practice center to meet the future needs of the industry. It promotes a sense of community among artificial lift users and provides a venue for the exchange of ideas and experience.
